FTG Expands Their Nadcap Accreditation
FTG Expands Their Nadcap Accreditation
Toronto, August 2, 2011 – Firan Technology Group (TSX:FTG) today announced that FTG Circuits – Toronto was one of the first printed circuit board manufacturers to achieve Nadcap AC7119/3, the electronics high density interconnect printed circuit board accreditation. There are currently only two companies accredited to the AC7119/3 (HDI) requirements worldwide.
Nadcap approval to this standard is now a mandatory flow down requirement for many aerospace and military OEM’s. This accreditation demonstrates FTG’s superior level of process management and will allow FTG to capture new business in these industry sectors.
“Achieving Nadcap accreditation is not easy: it is one of the ways in which the aerospace industry identifies those who excel at manufacturing quality product through superior special processes. Companies such as FTG Circuits – Toronto work hard to obtain this status and they should be justifiably proud of it”, said Joe Pinto, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Performance Review Institute. “PRI is proud to support continual improvement in the aerospace industry by helping companies such as FTG Circuits – Toronto be successful and we look forward to continuing to assist the industry moving forward”.
“FTG is committed to Operational Excellence across the company and the continuous improvement of our process controls is an important part of this effort”, stated Brad Bourne, President and Chief Executive Officer. He added, “The expanded Nadcap accreditation is especially important given FTG’s focus on the aerospace and defence market”.
