FTG Aerospace Becomes Certified For AS9100 B

Toronto, August 25, 2005 – Firan Technology Group Corporation today announced that its Aerospace Division has been awarded the Aerospace Standard AS9100B certification.
This is the second division of FTG to obtain this designation over the past year, following FTG Circuits (Toronto) certification as of January 27, 2005. The certification was performed by Intertek System Certification and is in addition to the division”s certification to ISO 9001/2000.

“FTG Aerospace, in its efforts to meet the very high expectations of its aerospace customers, see this as another milestone for the business and part of our growth strategy going forward”, said Collin Latchman, General Manager and VP of Business Development. “In addition, as we increase our product offering in the cockpit by providing more complete control assemblies, this certification is critical in streamlining our processes from engineering through to final inspection”.

FTG Aerospace”s Quality Policy is to fully meet customers” expectations and improve our processes and services for the design, development and manufacturing of integrally illuminated Panels, Keyboards and Sub-Assemblies for displays.

Being certified to AS9100B confirms FTG Aerospace as having a functionally recognized Business Management System that has been reviewed and audited for the capability to provide products and services for the Aerospace Industry.
