Firan Technology Group Corporation (FTG) Received Lean Initiative Award and Two Top Supplier Awards

Toronto – May 28, 2007 – Recognizing the initiatives undertaken to improve on quality, delivery and customer service through Lean initiatives, Rockwell Collins announced that FTG Aerospace was selected winner of the 2007 Lean Initiative Award. The award was presented during Rockwell Collins” Annual Supplier Conference in Cedar Rapids, Iowa by Clay Jones, Chairman, President and CEO of Rockwell Collins.

“FTG Aerospace has proven to be an exceptional supplier,” said Roger Weiss, Vice President of Material and Supply for Rockwell Collins. “Through the lean initiative programs, they have been able to shorten lead times, assist us in reducing inventories and have provided first-rate customer service”.
In addition to the Lean Initiatives Award, FTG Aerospace and FTG Circuits – Toronto were both recognized with a Rockwell Collins Top Supplier Award retaining our Preferred Supplier status. The annual awards are an acknowledgement of significant contributions made over the past year by each supplier amongst their peer group based on quality, delivery, total cost of ownership, lead time and customer service.
