Firan Technology Group Corporation (FTG) Completes AS9100B Certification Across All Operating Units

Toronto – May 31, 2006 – FTG announced today that it has completed registration/ certification for both ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B at its FTG Circuits – Chatsworth facility. The registration/certification was performed by QMI out of Irvine, CA. The audit result of 96% acceptance, was in QMI”s top 10% for quality acceptance. With this registration/certification, FTG Corporation now has all sites registered/certified to AS9100B.

“This final registration/certification within the Corporation to AS9100B further demonstrates our commitment to being a supplier of choice in high reliability printed circuit boards for aerospace and defense applications”, said Brad Bourne, President and CEO of FTG Corporation.

“With over 80% of FTG Circuits – Chatsworth”s revenue being derived from space, avionics and defense industries, this registration/certification completes commitments to our current top aerospace and defense customers”, said Kurt W. Summa, Director of Quality.

In related news, FTG Circuits – Chatsworth also announces approval from L-3 Communications as a qualified supplier to their Cincinnati Electronics site in Mason, Ohio for civil aerospace and defense applications on a wide range product types. “We appreciate the confidence L-3 Communications has placed in our systems and operations and we look forward to supporting their needs for printed circuit boards in the future”, added Mr. Summa.
