Firan Technology Group Corporation (FTG) Announces Further Strengthening of the Management Team

FTG announced today the promotion of Michael Labrador to Vice President and General Manager, FTG Circuits – Chatsworth. After more than 20 years successfully running that facility, Tim Snodgrass has decided to pursue his many other interests more fully. “We are disappointed to see Tim leave and we very much appreciate everything Tim has accomplished. We wish him well in his future activities”, remarked Brad Bourne, President and CEO, FTG Corporation.

Mr. Labrador brings many years of experience in the printed circuit board industry including time with Hadco, Sanmina, Coretec, and most recently as Director, Operations at FTG Circuits – Toronto. He has demonstrated outstanding operational skills over the last 18 months in significantly improving all aspects of FTG”s operations in Toronto. “We have aggressive growth plans for our Chatsworth facility and Mike”s knowledge and experience will be invaluable in bringing these to fruition”, noted Mr. Bourne.

After a rigorous executive search process, Mr. Jag Sharma has been hired as Director, Manufacturing to fill the vacancy created in Toronto. Mr. Sharma brings extensive manufacturing experience from many industries including automotive. He has led many Lean manufacturing initiatives and has his Six Sigma Black Belt. “I am excited about Jag”s skill set and I believe his leadership abilities will enable our Toronto facility to continue to pursue our goal of Operational Excellence”, added Mr. Bourne.
